ASKO started in 1950 with an innovative young man’s dream to build a washing machine for his mother to suit her every need. A unique, energy- and water efficient machine that would reflect a farmer’s love for nature. A washing machine with superior cleaning power and reliability, that could heat water, spin and even boast a durable, state-of-the-art stainless steel drum. One that would surpass even his meticulous mother’s high standards. So he built a world-class facility right on the family farm – where it still stands today – and a new company was born. The company we call ASKO.
Today ASKO is part of one of the largest appliance manufacturers in Europe with a world wide distribution of its products. You could say that ASKO has grown from a farmer’s backyard to an international brand, representing durability, design and environmental awareness its best.
